Refund Policy

The short version
If you're unhappy with GetYourSong within 14 days of your first paid subscription and you've used fewer than 5 analyses, we'll refund you in full. Just email billing@getyoursong.app.
1. Subscription refunds
14-day money-back guarantee: If you cancel within 14 days of your first paid subscription and have used fewer than 5 analyses on the paid plan, you'll get a full refund.
After 14 days or 5+ analyses: Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. You can cancel anytime to stop future charges. You retain access until the end of your current billing period.
Annual subscriptions: The 14-day window applies to annual subscriptions too. After 14 days, annual subscriptions can be cancelled but are non-refundable for the remaining period (we recommend monthly if you're unsure).
2. One-time pack refunds
One-time credit packs (Starter, Studio, Album DNA) are refundable within 7 days of purchase only if you have used fewer than 3 credits. Beyond that, packs are non-refundable but never expire.
3. Failed analyses
If an analysis fails for technical reasons (timeout, server error), we automatically refund the credit to your account — no action needed.
If an analysis returns a result you find inaccurate, that does not qualify for a credit refund (AI outputs vary in quality and confidence; we display confidence scores so you can judge before commercial use). However, we always read feedback and use it to improve.
4. Disputed charges
If you see an unrecognized charge, contact billing@getyoursong.app first. We resolve most billing disputes within 48 hours.
Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in account suspension.
5. Cancellation
To cancel:
- Sign into your account
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click "Cancel subscription"
You retain access until the end of your current billing period. No questions asked, no retention tactics, no hidden fees.
6. How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method via Stripe. Funds typically appear in your account within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
7. Exceptions
Refunds may be denied for accounts that:
- Have violated our Terms of Service
- Show patterns of abuse (multiple accounts to claim repeated refunds)
- Have generated content used commercially before requesting a refund
